Carl Hulme is Area Sales Manager for Latham Direct Timber (LDT), covering the North of England, and has worked for the business for nearly 4 years. Before joining LDT, Carl worked for LDT’s sister company James Latham Leeds, and was responsible for timber sales in the Northwest. Carl has been part of the Latham Group for over 10 years.

In that time, Carl has built up a sound knowledge of temperate and tropical hardwoods from North American, Africa, Europe, and the Far east. Aside from hardwoods, Carl is LDT Product Champion for Clears and WoodEx (Latham’s range of engineered hardwood & softwood joinery products).

Carl has been a proud member of the NWTTA committee since early 2023 and also represents National Hardwood Division for NWTTA.

James Latham is among the oldest and most established timber & panel businesses in the UK, with a history dating back to 1757 when the first James Latham began importing hardwoods into Liverpool.
